Ludzas district Identity
Ludza district is a vital place where global ideas create local connections. Ludza district attracts with its thoroughness, it is a place where everything is real. The district includes the oldest city of Latvia, Ludza, the farthest eastern point of Latvia - Zilupe, and the clear Latgalian language is spoken in Kārsava.
Project Task
Inspired by the authentic history of Ludza, a brand strategy and identity were developed, including the first Latgalian slogan in the history of Latvia "Te vyss ir pa eistam". Inspired by the graphic details of the Ludza coat of arms, values and traditions that have been cherished for a long time, a new unifying symbol of the region has been created.
